In episode 23 we produce a progressive (house) track from scratch using only Logic Pro X internal instruments. We start the process building drums using Drum Machine Designer. Creating drum from scratch recording the first MIDI part in real time to then duplicate the MIDI and build up the different parts to create a basic drum pattern.

We then record a bassline in MIDI and refine the composition in the parts we generated. Selecting the right preset from the Alchemy synthesizer we add some parts and build up the groove. Duplicating the MIDI we create a simple chord following the initial pattern and key to add more elements to the song.

We then record a lead in real time and process it to have the final elements to this mix.
