In episode 34 we produce a “Analog Techno Song” using replicas of analog instruments and drum kits inspired by the original analog drum machine sounds. We setup the DAW at 128 BPM and 96000KHZ to compose this track from scratch.

We kick off the session by creating drum sequences using a drum kit that simulate the Analog sound of the original Roland 808 Drum Machine. We add Kick drum, high hat, toms, and other important elements to create the basic groove for the song. Then we start working on a bassline that will be simple to fit the direction we are going with this composition. After we record the bassline in MIDI we qualitze it and work on the Analog Synth preset to modulate it to the percussion. We then replicate the key and create a responding bass with a different sound and tone, now the foundation of our Analog techno track are laid,

The next segment got us composing and recording a lead with a smooth string patch that sound indeed very analog, we then create a reverb channel to add dimension to the lead.

Then we add yues more elements and close this session with our main motto.
